Making a start

There are trillions of blogs and images all about stunning Turks and Caicos in the Caribbean, and this blog is designed to add to the information out there as and when.
Its very much a personal blog and any comments are most welcome.
The Turks and Caicos Islands is a small nation, and the growth is simply stunning. Only few years ago, in the middle 70’s, there was very little to see or do, especially on Providenciales. The topography of the island is dull, but the water is quite out of this world.
As with all developing nations, the infrastructure has come a long way and is enabling the change to take place. Now there are tarmacadam roads, international airports, daily flights to the US and weekly to London, stunning developments where tourists can enjoy, beautiful houses and wonderful sights… on and on ….
I have been here now for 4 full years, and still look out of my window in awe at the sight of the water and the colour. The blue, green and white colours blend, the wind gently blows the palms… simply quite wonderful.
Now, working from home and supporting the most imporant person in my life in her new venture, real estate, it is a joy to be able to send out messages and perhaps enable someone else the opportunity to benefit and experience a change of lifestyle.
Only yesterday, chatting to a Californian who is here to look for property (we are selling our current home and moving on to the next step in our own journey – still here!) once again, it reminded us of the uniquesness of the life here. Simply quite wonderful.
Below is copy imported of Jan’s blog, so that there is something else to read on this blog…what fun!
I’ve just discovered another blog from a visitor who was raving about the islands, and has taken some stunning photos… how wonderful to be able to spead the word so easily in this day and age. We are truly blessed.
