A bit of art work…

No monkeying around here…. It is Saturday morning, the sun is shining and another glorious day here in Turks and Caico. I thought I would put some pictures in this blog that readers may like. Should start with the monkeys really, as this picture represents some fo the art work that comes with this fabulous unit in the Grace Bay Club. The unit is privately marketed, and the owners have kindly allo

wed me to publish their home. It has never been in the excellent rental pool and is beautiful. It is priced very much to sell and can be seen on this link. A great opportunity for the right person.

The yachting photo is a shot of the marina in Turtle Cove where we have a number of super properties for sale, reflecting a different lifestyle here in Turks and Caicos. TCI does not have a huge yachting culture, there is an active sailing club (Hobie Cat’s mainly) but it would be fair to say that the majority of boats here are powered. Deep sea fishing is, of course, second to none, and we have some very active charter
business’ who offer a great service.
The lovely sunset photo below is taken from Coral Gardens, where we have a number of super units that overlook the National Park here on Grace Bay and are priced very competatively. The main attraction for this location is the fabulous diving and snorkelling that is just on the beach, and visitors return regularly to this location, specifically for the beach fun, and come in year after year.

A good rental return is found in these units for the main season.
Some very good news on the financial scene for buyers here in Turks and Caicos is that the reduction in stamp duty, the one time purchase tax for any buyer for a home on Providenciales, is that the 6% tax levy has been extended to the end of June – the normal rate is 9.75%, so the 6% is a considerable saving.. it won’t last that long!
This has promted a steady rise in interest which is good news and the future for our beautiflu island is very good. We have two wonderful new hospitals in the final stages of the build phase, and staff are being taken on. This is really good news for us all who live here of course, as at the moment we rely on air lift to Miami for any serious issues, but once the new system is up and running, we will be much better serviced. This is a significant step forward here and makes it even more attractive to our investors who need to be assured that there is an appropirate medical support system in place. It only seems yesterday when they announced the start… This last photo shows a cluster of units that are available here on Coral Gardens, where we have an office. Right on the beach, these units are very well priced. Top floor units, owned by the same owner are $450k, and the lower two are priced at $485k. Check out this link for photos and more details.
AND lastly, a new website address for our site.. www.turkandcaicoshomefinder.comthis supplements the www.caribbeanhomefinder.net address that we use, and brings us into the .com standard.
Happy surfing, and come on over… the Turks and Caicos is waiting for you!
